Gibson Co. Pair Charged with Raping Children

Investigators in Gibson County said a couple is charged with raping and abusing two minor children.

According to investigators, Anthony Alford, 33 and Hilda Alford, 27, are both charged with multiple counts of rape of a child, aggravated rape of a child, aggravated sexual battery and child abuse. The alleged incidents
happened in November and December of last year.

The two are currently being held at the Gibson County Correctional Complex on separate $100,000 bonds. The couple returns to court on March 21.
