MEDINA, Tenn.- After cutting off his ankle monitor and eluding officers for a day, a suspected burglar is behind bars in Gibson County.

Dorian Jacox, 24, is charged with seven different counts. He is
suspected of breaking into a neighbor's house on Hanna Street in Medina.

When officers went to question him, Tuesday they said he ran and in the process cut off his ankle monitor, in place after a child abuse conviction in Carroll County.

Police said he was arrested Tuesday morning hiding in the bathroom of his girlfriend's house.
