Golf Course in North Jackson Closing

JACKSON, Tenn. - A golf course in North Jackson is closing.

According to a news release, Highland Green Golf Course and Range closed effective August 1. New plans for the property are currently being developed.

The course on Highway 45 near the city limits has been in operation since 1968.

The release stated that all golf memberships and paid golf range fees will be reimbursed on a pro rata basis.

"Claims may be made by furnishing proof of purchase and mailing same to 3801 Highway 45, Jackson, TN 38305. Parties should allow 14 days for processing and payment. Claims must be made on or before September 1, 2012."

The owner expressed thanks to the many patrons for their many years of support.
