One local ministry spent the morning golfing for a great cause.
Indigenous Outreach hosted its First Annual Windmill Classic at the Casey Jones Mini Golf course early Saturday morning. More than 50 students and adults came out to raise money for the ministry.

Indigenous Outreach is a missions based ministry. They said they focus on the financial, educational, and spiritual needs of indigenous ministers and churches around the world.

Golfers said they were happy to help those miles away in Jackson.

"We think it is a great opportunity for people to be together, and also know that you are raising money for a great cause," said Organizer Russ Cooper.

Participants helped to raise more than $2500 in just two hours Saturday morning.
