One group hosted its Second Annual Marx-Bensdorf Jackson Training Race Saturday.

More than 100 bicyclists geared up and hit the pavement Saturday morning. The race started and finished at Trinity Christian Academy.

The races were split into three different categories based on the riders ability. Local businesses from Memphis and Jackson teamed up and put on the race to encourage people to get out and ride.

"It's probably one of the top ways to stay fit. You don't get the build up on your body as far as knees and stuff. They don't get the abuse," said Organizer Gib Morehead.

Riders from all across West Tennessee participated in the race biking any where from 30 to 50 miles.
