Hands Up! Preschool Dedicates New Library

JACKSON, Tenn.-Many 'Read Across America' events were held Friday, but there was one that was a little different.

In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday , Hands Up! Preschool dedicated its library. All of the books in the library were donated by people in the community and will be available for students to check out and read outside of the library.

"They are going to love to read and people are going to read to them they actually get to check out the books every week students will get to check out books and take them home and they will start to learn about the responsibility process," Donna Agnew, of Hands Up! preschool.

Hands Up! told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News more than 1,000 books were donated by local residents.
