Hass Brought to Jackson to Face Charge
7 Eyewitness News Staff
The former Jackson Police officer indicted earlier this week, returned to the Hub City, in handcuffs.
Travis Hass, 29, was escorted from East Tennessee Friday by Madison County deputies.
He was arrested in his new hometown of Chattanooga, Wednesday, a day after being indicted in Madison County on a charge of filing a false police report.
The charge stems from an incident in June 2010, where Hass said he was ambushed and shot four times, though he is suspected of pulling the trigger himself.
He could make his first court appearance as early as Monday.
