Hazardous Waste Disposal Set for Saturday

JACKSON, Tenn.- The City of Jackson is hosting its second Household Hazardous Waste Day Collection for the year, Saturday.

They will be accepting a number of hazardous waste items found in and around your home, including, oil-based paint, thinners, household cleaners, gasoline, refrigerants, oil, herbicides, pesticides, pool chemicals, aerosols, and fluorescent light bulbs.

The collection point is behind the Farmers Market in downtown Jackson. You can drop off the items from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
