Christmas Eve Bandit Wanted in Henry County

HENRY COUNTY Tenn.- The Henry County Sheriff's Department needs help identifying a man they believe burglarized two businesses on Christmas Eve morning.

Deputies say a man broke into Cookie's Diner and South Side Cafe in Paris causing thousands of dollars of damage to the businesses doors.

"Just disappointed that there are people out there like that in this town," said Cookie's owner Jeanine McFadden

Investigators believe the same man broke into the cafe across the street, but didn't steal any cash. The only thing stolen was a slice of chocolate pie.

"The pie must be really good! That's the only thing I can think of they were hungry and the pie must have been really good," said the owner of South Side, Tara Hargrove.

Both businesses said they were happy no one was hurt, and the doors can be replaced.
