Henry Co. Charges Dismissed in Drug Task Force Case

HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. - Criminal cases involving former personnel from the 24th Judicial Drug Task Force that were expected to be heard Thursday have been dismissed.

Former Task Force Director Steve Lee and former Secretary Leona Simoneau were sentenced earlier this month in Carroll County Circuit Court.

After sentencing, their cases were to be brought to Henry County on possible local charges, but instead the prosecution moved to dismiss the case.

Back in 2011, Lee and Simoneau were indicted on theft charges.
