Henry County To Host Document Shred
PARIS. Tenn. -- A West Tennessee sheriff’s office is helping citizens dispose of items that shouldn't just be thrown away.
The Henry County Sheriff's Department will have a document shred and drug take back day at Kroger in Paris on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sheriff Monte Belew said there will be a commercial grade shredder on hand where citizens can come and shred documents that need to be disposed of.
Belew said they are doing this to help prevent identity theft in the county.
Also, citizens can bring any prescription drugs that they no longer use or are out of date,
The sheriff’s office will also have free hot dogs, chips and drinks for free.
There will also be a canine demonstration.
