How Will Protection Order Affect Sheriff at Work?
JACKSON, Tenn. - The temporary order of protection granted to Deputy Sharon Sangster prevents Madison County Sheriff David Woolfork from having any contact with her. That includes coming to her workplace.
Both Sangster and Woolfork work in the same building, the main Madison County Sheriff's Office located on East College St.
According to Madison County Attorney Steve Maroney, Sangster has been temporarily reassigned to another location serviced by the sheriff's department. However, Maroney could not say exactly where Sangster will work.
No one with the Madison County Sheriff's Department was available to comment Monday. Monday was Columbus Day, a holiday observed by Madison County.
A hearing on the temporary protection order is scheduled for Oct. 23.
