Humboldt Police Search For Alleged Shooter
HUMBOLDT, Tenn. -- Police are searching for a man they say shot a woman, then fled the scene early on Tuesday morning. At around 12:30 a.m, police say they responded to a shooting complaint at the 100 block of S. 7th Avenue. Upon arrival, they learned that a Humboldt woman suffered a gunshot wound. Police believe three suspects left the scene in a tan 4-door car. Police continue to investigate, but have issued a warrant for Jimmy D. Taylor with a charge of Attempted First Degree Murder. Taylor is described as a 26, 240 pounds, 6'02 black male from Humboldt. The victim was treated at Humboldt General Hospital for an injury that was not considered life-threatening. The two additional persons who fled the scene may have had minor gunshot injuries.
