MADISON COUNTY, Tenn.- A Madison County teenager said she narrowly missed getting shot Monday morning as she stood in her bedroom and deputies said they know who is responsible.

Deputies were called out to the home in the 1800 block of Highway 70 East, after a bullet pierced the teens bedroom window. She was not hurt, but officers have cited Jimmy Breedlove, 67, of Jackson.

Deputies said Breedlove was aiming at a deer.

"It hit the top of my window and went through the wall where I was standing, right beside my head," said Kelly Campbell, who was almost hit by the bullet. "It was pretty close it was like an inch away from my head, where I was standing."

According to officers, Breedlove told them he fired six to eight shots at a deer from his stand, which sits behind the family's home.

The investigation continues, however, deputies said the incident appears to be accidental.
