The Jackson Generals are not just a big boost to summer entertainment, they are also a big boos to the economy.

The team's general manager, Jason Compton said the team employs 13 full-time workers and 110 part-time workers throughout the season .

Part-timers, who range in age from teens to retirees, average about five hours a game and work from the first of April through Labor Day in September. Many of them are familiar faces returning to the ballpark year after year.

" Oh very important because I have children, I have two small children that depend on me, so, this is where I make my money," said Nykeisha Carroll a part-time employee with the Jackson Generals.

If you would like to work for the team, you will have to wait until next summer. This year, workers for the entire season had been hired by the end of February.
