Injured Humboldt Firefighter Home from Hospital

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. - The Humboldt firefighter injured while battling a fire Thanksgiving night, is home from the hospital.
Humboldt fire officials said firefighter Michael Lewis is recovering well at home, since he was released from a Memphis hospital Friday afternoon.
On Thursday night, he received burns to the side of his face, hands and ears, while battling a house fire.
Lewis has been with the department for six years.
Fire officials said he should be able to return to work in the next three to four weeks.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
