JACKSON, Tenn. – The Jackson-Madison County Library and Friends of the Library are preparing for their annual book sale with begins later this week. More than 7,500 paperback and hardback books are set to be on sale for this year’s event. Books for children and adults will be available. Organizers said the sale is important for the library’s continued growth and improvement. “The money goes directly to the library and it funds the children’s summer reading program for Friends of the Library,” said Wanda Scanlon.
