The Jackson Area Center for Independent Living or JCIL revealed a new look for the organization.
Executive director Beth James helped unveil the new look and logo of the organization, which at any time serves 600 clients in eight West Tennessee counties.
Friday's fundraiser will help the group continue to provide free services to individuals with disabilities as they strive to live independently in their own homes.
"Our other logo featured a wheelchair and it made a lot of people think all we dealt with were people who used wheelchairs and that's not true," said Beth James, executive director of JCIL. "JCIL works with all types of disabilities and all ages."
JCIL was established in 1996. To learn mare about about JCIL, look for the link in the 'Seen on 7' section of wbbjtv.com
