JEA Prepares For Possible Outages

JACKSON, Tenn. - Jackson Energy Authority is preparing for the possibility of bad weather.

JEA crews and contractors have their electric trucks gassed and ready for problems that may be caused by ice in the area.

While crews have maintained JEA power lines through regular tree trimming and maintenance, ice could still cause trees and branches to fall and damage power lines.

Call the power goes out in if there is a power outage in your area.
