MADISON COUNTY, Tenn.- A jack-knifed semi has been removed from the side of Interstate 40 in West Madison County. Crews battled muddy conditions Thursday afternoon.
Crews battled the rain and muddy conditions all afternoon. Troopers said the 18 wheeler wrecked Wednesday afternoon, causing it to flip on its side off of the Interstate near mile marker 72 in the east bound lane.
Luckily, the driver of the truck suffered only minor injuries. Workers told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News the wet conditions did not make the cleanup very easy.
