Jackson Christmas Tree Lit by Mayor

JACKSON, Tenn. - The City of Jackson's official Christmas tree is now officially aglow.

Around 5:15 p.m., Monday, Mayor Jerry Gist and Santa Claus himself lit the city's tree, which sits outside City Hall along Main Street. The tree lighting occurred shortly before the city's Christmas Parade.

The tree will remain lit throughout the holiday season.
