Downtown Jackson Library Debuts "Teen Room"
DOWNTOWN JACKSON -- It's a new year, and a new look for the Jackson-Madison County library in Downtown Jackson.
The library hosted an open house on Tuesday to show off the new additions and renovations.
Guests were able to visit the new teen room, which is stocked with young adult books and computers for their use.
Organizers hope the new room will help young people enjoy the library more.
"Information is power, and people that have knowledge are able to have a better life," Dinah Harris, Director of the JMC Library said.
This new project that has been a year in the making.
