DOWNTOWN JACKSON -- The Jackson-Madison County Library is closing for renovations Saturday. Crews will move all books onto the first floor and all computers upstairs. Workers are constructing a railing around the children's area and introducing a new room for teens. Dinah Harris, the director of the library, says the new design will be an open concept that guests will enjoy. "it needed a lot of redoing and moving things around to make it more friendly to the customers, so I'm very excited." The library will be closed from this Saturday, November 9th through Friday, November 22nd.
