Police Investigate Theft of Bronze Statue at North Park

NORTH JACKSON -- Jackson police are investigating the theft of a bronze statue at North Park on Demonbreun Drive.

Around 11:25 a.m. Friday, police were called about the theft. Officers learned that a bronze statue of a little boy had been stolen sometime within the past 48 hours.

The statue is approximately 2 feet tall and stood on a pedestal. The statue was broken off the pedestal and taken. The statue was near the playground area known as Gabriel's Garden.
