A Jackson plant is set to be closed in 2013 after it's parent company was sold.
H.B. Fuller Company announced that Jackson's Forbo Adhesives plant is among six that will be closed as they attempt to eliminate duplication of manufacturing and redundant services.
Company officials said the 45 workers whose jobs will be eliminated will be able to apply for other positions at the company's other facilities.
No exact date was given but officials plan to shutter all six of the facilities planned for closure by the middle of 2013.
