Jay's Warriors Page Continues to Grow
A Facebook page made for a West Tennessee man fighting cancer has grown to more than 25,000 likes in less than a week.
Jay Rogers is still at home fighting the cancer he has been battling since 2005.
Family members said they’ve had lots of phone calls from people Jay has looked up to in life and watched on television. Former Tennessee Volunteers football coach Phillip Fulmer, former quarterback Eric Ainge, Carroll County native and San Francisco 49er Patrick Willis and Denver Broncos Quarterback Peyton Manning have all called to offer well wishes.
Friday in the West Carroll School System was declared "Jay Day." Jay played football at West Carroll High School in Atwood before his cancer diagnosis.
Jay’s brother, Daniel, is trying to get 30,000 likes on Jay’s Warriors Facebook page by the end of Friday. To like his page, go to: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Jays-Warriors/357720607654499?fref=ts
