JACKSON, Tenn.- If you are looking for something to do Thursday night, you can, not only take in a live country music concert, but help out RIFA as well.
Local promoter, "Unplugged Entertainment" is hosting a concert by John Anderson at the Jackson Country Club and donating $10 for each ticket to RIFA.
Anderson is known for country hits such as "Straight Tequilla Night", "Seminole Wind" and "Swingin'". The concert begins at 8:45 and is limited to a smaller crowd than you might expect.
"There is not a bad seat in the house. It's 200 people when can you go see somebody like Tracy Lawrence or Samy Kershaw perform for 200 people so I hope they enjoy the show and know that they are doing it for a good cause and bringing good things to Jackson,"
said Jerry Corley, owner of Coyote Blues Restaurant.
"You can't go see an artist like this without spending $100 to $150 easy on a concert out of town. So you really have to take all that into consideration whenever you are looking at the ticket price."
The $55 tickets include an appetizer buffet and are available at Coyote Blues Restaurant or at the door at the Jackson Country Club.
