Graduates from Madison County's Leadership University were recognized Tuesday afternoon, for their many hours of hard work.
Leadership University is Madison County's youth leadership development program.
40 students participated in 63 classroom hours, 10 hours of community service, and eight hours on a community project, which was presented to the public on Tuesday.
Two graduates were selected to share how the program impacted them and their classmates.
"This helps them understand that they have to lead by example and that they have to be the change that they want to see in their school and in the community; and that they have to make the right choices and decisions so others looking up to them and following them will make the right decisions," said Judy Renshaw.
