Jackson Firefighters Honored for 9/11
JACKSON, Tenn. -- Golden Circle Auto Group and Chick-fil-A and Old Hickory Mall teamed up to deliver free meals to fire stations across Jackson.
Some of them had to reheat the treat because they were called out before they had a chance to eat.
Organizers said they wanted to give back to those who protect us 24/7.
Mallory Yancey, catering sales director for Chick-fil-A said both companies are deeply rooted in the community.
“Golden Circle Auto Group and Chick-fil-A are both really community service focused. We wanted to think of a way to get out in our community on days like 9/11 and show our support for local firefighters,” said Yancey.
Both Yancey and Chip Littrell with Golden Circle Auto said this is the first year the companies have teamed up for this kind of 9/11 tribute.
