Local Soldier's Remains Returned after 60 Years

The remains of a West Tennessee soldier will be interred 61 years after he disappeared during the Korean War.

The remains of U.S. Army PFC Frank Primm Jennings were returned to Nashville International Airport, Wednesday and burial will be Saturday afternoon at the Jeanette Cemetery in Decatur County.

The Decaturville native, who graduated from Parsons High School was 19-year-old when he went missing in April of 1951 in South Korea.

His remains wee discovered in October 1986 and his family received conformation of his identity in December 2011.
