JACKSON, Tenn.- The Jackson Chapter of the Chapter of the American Red Cross held a fundraiser basketball game, Friday night.
In fact, there were some familiar local faces who played in the game.

The Harlem Ambassadors returned to Jackson and challenged some of our local celebrities to a basketball game.

The game was held in the gymnasium at Jackson State Community College.

100 percent of the ticket and concession sales went to the American Red Cross. WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News caught up with one event organizer to find out how much this charity event really means to the Red Cross.

"It's one of only two fundraisers that we do every year. So, it's a big deal for us, we're not government funded like a lot of people think and we rely on donations so this is a big part of the money that two raise every year," Jennifer McCraw, CEO, of the American Red Cross, Jackson Chapter.

Mayor Gist scored the first point of the game, However, it was the Ambassadors who won the game.
