MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. - A recent state audit from the county took up much of the discussion at Monday morning's Madison County Commission meeting.

Commissioners and county leaders discussed how some new policies need to be made and other older policies need to be updated.

One of the issues discussed was the county vehicle usage policy, which was an issue in the audit regarding the emergency management agency and a few other departments.

County commissioners voted to set up an audit committee, which was one of the suggestions stated in the report. The audit committee will be formed next month.
