An Oakfield man was arrested this weekend and is facing sex charges.
According to the Madison County Sheriff's Department, Frederick Andre Gray, Sr., 38, has multiple charges against him including sexual battery by an authority figure.
Investigators believe Gray touched and had sexual intercourse with a juvenile victim on multiple occasions.
Frederick Andre Gray, Sr. appeared before the Honorable Judge Hugh Harvey, Jr. for arraignment, Monday morning.
Gray, who, according to his booking information, is an armed security guard for Maxxguard, Inc., was ordered not to have contact with juvenile and to surrender his handgun carry permit. Maxxguard President and CEO Frankie Lax said Gray will be suspended without pay.
Gray has been employed at Maxxguard since October 2010, and, according to Lax, was given a pre-employment drug screen and also completed all class room and firing range training.
"During his time with Maxxguard, Mr. Gray has worked several unarmed and armed posts. His work has been excellent; however, with these charges, Maxxguard has suspended Mr. Gray of all duties and in accordance with Tennessee law, has notified the Department of Commerce and Insurance, and the State will suspend his license until final adjudication of this case." Lax said in a news release.
Bond was set at $75,000. Gray's preliminary hearing has been scheduled for July 12, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in General Sessions Court, Division I.
