Madison Oaks Academy Staffer Accused of Having Sex with Underage Resident

JACKSON, Tenn. - Jackson police said they arrested a Madison Oaks Academy staff member early, Thursday morning. The man allegedly had sex with an underage resident at the facility.
According to a news release, police were called to Madison Oaks Academy on East Old Hickory Boulevard around 1:00 a.m. Thursday.
Investigators believe that a staff member was making his rounds when he saw another on-duty staff member, Larry McIntosh, having sex with a 13-year-old female resident. McIntosh is charged with aggravated statutory rape and statutory rape by an authority figure.
Madison Oaks Academy said that McIntosh has been suspended
pending the outcome of the investigation.
Police said the staff member, who allegedly witnessed the incident, immediately alerted his superiors who then notified police.
McIntosh, 24, was arrested at the facility and booked into the Madison County Jail at 2:40 a.m.
He is scheduled to be arraigned at 8:00 a.m. Friday in Jackson City
Court.
The Department of Children's Services is assisting in the
investigation.
