Man Accused of Stealing Air Conditioners from Area Churches

HARDEMAN COUNTY, Tenn.- A man suspected of targeting churches and homes in Hardeman County since last summer is behind bars.

Dexter Paul Sappington, 25, faces two counts each of theft and vandalism involving churches in Toone and Bolivar and one home.

Deputies said the thefts involving air conditioners began in July of last year.
