Man Arrested after Domestic Incident in Humboldt

HUMBOLDT, Tenn.- Authorities in Humboldt said they have arrested a man after a domestic dispute on New Year's Eve.

Police said Frank Snowden has been charged with aggravated domestic violence, aggravated assault and possession of a prohibited weapon as a convicted felon.

Authorities said when they arrived at the home on Woodland Avenue, Snowden confronted officers with a loaded handgun in the front yard, but later surrendered it.

Witnesses said Snowden had fired the weapon several times inside the house. Snowden is currently being held in the Gibson County Correctional Complex on a $100,000 bond.
