Man Convicted of Kidnapping and Robbing Lane College Student Sentenced

The man convicted of kidnapping, robbing and raping a Lane College student was sentenced, Monday.
Marquon Green was sentenced to 20 years for both aggravated kidnapping and aggravated rape and 10 years for aggravated robbery.
Investigators said back in August of 2011, Green approached a female student leaving Lane College who kidnapped and forced
her to drive away from the campus.
Before fleeing the scene, officers said Green stole items from the victim.
Police later arrested Green on additional charges and realized he matched the description of the suspect. He was ordered to serve 10 years for a previous robbery conviction.
In all, Green will serve a total of 60 years for his sentencing of all of the crimes.
