MADISON COUNTY, Tenn.- A one-vehicle wreck on a busy road that runs through Gibson and Madison counties injured one man Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened along a stretch of Old Medina Road in Gibson County.
According to a 7 Eyewitness News crew traveling just behind the pickup truck, the driver was swerving from side-to-side just before he lost control.
The truck flipped over into oncoming traffic and then landed in a ditch. The man driving the pickup suffered what appeared to be non life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
The driver told 7 Eyewitness News he was searching for his cell phone and cigarettes just before the crash.
Authorities are investigating the crash but have not released an official cause.
