A man originally charged with first degree murder in Henderson County has pleaded guilty to a reduced charge in a 2011 homicide.
According to the Henderson County Circuit Court Clerk's Office, Christopher Lewis entered a plea to voluntary manslaughter, Tuesday morning.
Deputies arrested him last July in connection with the discovery of the body of Kevin Pratt, 35, in a wooded area.
The judge sentenced Lewis to 15 years in prison at 60 percent, which means he could be out of jail in nine years.
