Man Shot in the Head in Humboldt

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. - Humboldt police are investigating a shooting that happened early Saturday morning.

According to a news release, officers responded to the area of Calhoun and West Side Drive at 3:26 a.m. Saturday. They found a 33 year old man, who is from Missouri, had been shot in the head. His injuries were not life-threatening and he was treated and released from a local hospital.

Police said the suspect fled the scene and no description was released. The incident is still under investigation by the Humboldt Police Department. Anyone with information is asked to call 731.784.1322.
