Man Wanted on Drug Charges

A Jackson man is wanted in connection with a drug bust.

According to a news release, Jackson-Madison County Metro Narcotics Unit searched the home of Tyler Lamont Twiddy, Monday. He was not home at the time of the search.

During the search, officers found crack cocaine, powder cocaine, marijuana, a digital scale and packaging materials. Police determined the estimated street value of the drugs is over $6,400.

Investigators found the house guarded by two pitbulls chained close to the front door, and two more running loose inside the bedroom. None of the dogs had food or water available. Jackson City Animal Control took custody of the dogs.

Twiddy, aka "Little Hippie", 20, is on the loose and wanted for possession of cocaine with intent to sell, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and four counts of animal cruelty.

He is described as a black male, approximately 6'2" tall and weighs approximately 185 pounds. He sometimes wears glasses and has light facial hair. He is believed to drive a late 1980s model, primer gray, Chevrolet Caprice.
