McNairy County Director of Schools Resigns

SELMER, Tenn.- The director of one local school district is stepping down.

During a school board meeting, Charlie Miskelly announced he will be resigning on December 31.

Miskelly did not give a reason why he was stepping down, but did say he was making an an announcement now to give the school board plenty of time to find a new director and get that person in place to finish out the school year.

Miskelly thanked everyone for the support he has been given for the past 131/2 years.
