Medina Preschoolers Learn from Firefighters, Police Officers and Mayor

MEDINA, Tenn. - Preschool students in Medina got a chance to meet some of the people that serve them and their families every day.

The Medina preschool class walked to city hall and visited the mayor's office, police department and fire department, Tuesday morning.

Mayor Vance Coleman, Sergeant Kevin Vester, Fireman Anthony Jordan and Spotlite, the dalmatian, greeted the class.

Spotlite taught the children how to stop, drop and roll along with how to crawl during a fire.

This will be one of the last tours given at the current Medina City Hall. The new City Hall is scheduled to open in early May. City leaders said the new and modernized facility will allow for better service to the community.
