Milan Basketball Manager Thankful for Special Experience

MILAN, Tenn. - A Milan High School student is not letting Down's syndrome keep him from playing basketball.

Joey Wall is a senior and team manager for the Milan High Bulldogs basketball team.

He attends all home games, and team practices during school, every day.

He said it was very exciting to actually play in the game against Covington for senior night last Friday.

Fans from both teams cheered him on as he played in the last three minutes of the game, and made two shots.

"My hands are on fire, and they were so smoky, I was ready," Wall said. "I was so happy, and I like it."

Joey will graduate in May and continue his education at Milan High School through the R.I.S.E. Program.
