Milan Firefighters Giving Away Free Smoke Detectors

WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News Staff

MILAN, Tenn. - The Milan Fire Department has free smoke detectors it wants to give out to any Milan residents, or those who live in the surrounding area.

They still have about 700 left. The department got the detectors earlier this year through a FEMA fire prevention and safety grant.

Firefighters will also install the smoke detectors for free. If you want one, contact the Milan Fire Department at (731) 686-3996.
