Ministry Prays For Bikers Safety

The Christian Motorcyclists Association in Jackson set aside some time Saturday to pray for motorcyclists safety.

The Steel Horse Prophets held its seventh annual Bike Blessings for riders in the parking lot of the Old Country Store along the 45 Bypass.

The event went all through out the day as members prayed for bikers gearing up for the riding season.

Organizers said the goal of the event is to protect motorcyclists by creating awareness that they too share the road.

"Blessing a bike is not a magic spell, but prayer is very very important to us. And it is a very real and strong thing," said C.M.A. member Mary Flynn.

C.M.A. also sold barbecue to motorcyclists. All the money raised will go to missions.
