LEXINGTON, Tenn. - Police are looking for a bold thief who was caught on camera stealing a bag full of cash.

According to the report, a clerk at the BP Major Market in Lexington left a deposit bag full of cash on the desk in the store's office. She's reported to have left the office to go to the restroom before putting the bag away.

Immediately after she left, cameras caught a man break into the office and take the bag from the desk. He is described as a black man approximately six feet tall wearing jeans and a tan button up shirt. Cameras also show him driving away in a black Chrysler Concord.

Customers say they can't believe someone would steal from the business especially with so many cameras around.

The owner says he is willing to match the amount of reward money offered by Crimestoppers for anyone who can help catch the man.

Anyone who knows who the man is should call the Lexington Police Department at 731-968-6666.
