Murder Suspect to be Returned to Jackson after Waiving Extradition
JACKSON, Tenn. - The teen accused of killing his aunt in Jackson has stopped his fight against extradition.
According to Jackson police, Caleb Mullins, 19, signed a form waiving his right to an extradition hearing in a Louisville, KY courtroom, Wednesday morning.
Police plan to return him to Jackson as soon as possible.
Mullins is accused of fatally stabbing his aunt Karen Mullins, 43, then running off to Kentucky in her car. Karen Mullins body was found in her home November 11 after going to her home to check on her welfare. Investigators said Caleb moved here from Louisville to live with his aunt and go to school.
Investigators said it was their interview with Caleb Mullins that led them to the murder weapon found inside of a dumpster at Camellia Trace Apartments.
