JACKSON, Tenn. - A Jackson police officer made an unexpected discovery late Friday night.

Jackson-Madison County narcotics officers said he was looking for someone with outstanding warrants, but instead found ingredients to make a meth lab.

Officers said they found the ingredients in an out building in the backyard of a home in the 500 block of Chester Levee Road.
