Neighbors Speak Out After Meth Lab Bust

JACKSON, Tenn. - The Jackson-Madison County Metro Narcotics Unit arrested two people suspected of running a meth lab in their home.

The home is located in South Jackson on the 500th block of Chester Levee Road.

The Jackson-Madison County Metro Narcotics Unit arrested Laura Parker and Joshua Crowder for making Methamphetamine. In addition to the initiation of meth manufacture charge they face several other charges.

"When we first came over the corner we saw firetrucks everywhere first thing we thought somebody got hurt and then when we saw the hazmat things and people in handcuffs," said Joseph Patterson.

Patterson said he didn't know the people next door were allegedly involved in drug activity.

"They seemed like quiet people and they seemed like good people we knew them you know they seemed like good people...its a surprise to me," said Patterson.
